While I don’t normally pay too much attention to the awards shows, this years was a milestone.  Aside from Avatar not winning, The Hurt Locker did.  And in a historic win, Kathryn Bigelow became the first female to win the director of the year.  What do you think of the awards? All the winners at IMDB.

It has just been announced that due to class cancellations form the the snow.  Finals week will be shifted so that we can make-up those missed classes.  This means that we will be having class Monday, May 10th.  This should not effect our final exam which will still take place Wednesday, May 12th.  I will keep you informed of other changes as they come up.
