Rain and the People Who Get Wet

Rain is a downer especially when you wake up to it, or sleep past your alarm and finally get up only to realize it’s raining.  It never fails that the one day everyone needs to be up early is the day it rains and everyone wants to sleep in.  If it was always sunny everyone would be wide awake and ready for the new day.  Too bad that we have those days when all we want to do is go back to bed and curse the sky for opening up.

Is rain all bad?  Well it does help things grow, except for us.  It cleanses things, except for us.  I’m beginning to think that rain is a joke on humanity.  Although in the summer rain can be enjoyable, but only in the afternoon.  Since lack of rain would decimate humanity, I deal with it by getting a larger coffee and splashing strangers as I jump in puddles.
