As you can tell by the title, I have a headache. One of those almost gone but never really gone ones that tends to be just annoying enough that it saps your energy and leads to an almost profound ability to avoid any work. It’s not that I don’t want to be productive, I do. But right when I sit down or begin to do something important, the head bangs. I get about 10 or so minutes into something and I have to get up and walk around or do something else. I am beginning to think my headache has ADHD.
So stop reality for a second and think about this, how many headaches have been the cause of something not being done. Perhaps we would now be in an English run joint called the Colonies had Jefferson had a migraine. Perhaps Kurt Cobain would have only written “With the lights out…” and stopped due to a headache, only to revisit the song and finish it with “balloons and puppies jump around.” I get the feeling that even minor accomplishments would be difficult. Could you imagine how bad Britney Spears life would be had she had a headache twice in her life, right about the time K Fed and her had relations. Actually I could imagine that. Well, I guess all headaches are not bad, just mine.
